Survival horror protagonists, when they find a pitch-black tunnel filled with blood, screaming, and distant monster noises:
“But, there might be loot in there.”
@simonsquibb I think the people who win in the next few years won’t just be “AI users.” It’ll be the people who combine creativity, taste, storytelling, systems thinking, and AI into things people actually care about.
That’s the lane I’m trying to build in.
@simonsquibb I’ve actually been thinking a lot about this lately. AI absolutely will replace a lot of jobs… which is exactly why I’m focused on building instead of waiting around hoping I’m “safe.”
I’m a designer currently pursuing my Master’s in Game Design, but 👇
@simonsquibb I’m using it to accelerate execution, experimentation, and product building.
I genuinely love the process too. Half the time I’m up at 2am obsessing over UI flows, gameplay systems, branding direction, or figuring out how to remove friction from creative workflows with AI.
@simonsquibb I currently have 14 active game concepts/projects spanning survival horror, co-op puzzle games, simulation games, and experimental multiplayer ideas.
What makes me different is I bridge both sides, creativity and systems thinking. I’m not just using AI to generate stuff.
@simonsquibb Right now I’m building: • an AI-powered SaaS platform for e-commerce sellers • multiple content/streaming brands • scalable branding + marketing systems for businesses • and constantly prototyping game ideas
@simonsquibb most of my work sits at the intersection of AI, game development, branding, UI/UX, and content creation. I use AI daily to speed up workflows, prototype ideas, automate repetitive tasks, and build things that would’ve normally required way bigger teams.
@Jayecane about $14k. It would pay off my truck, which I'm behind on, and allow me to pay off cc debts from just trying to survive when I lost my job, and allow me to give my kid what she wants for her birthday (to go to Build-A-Bear and Hobby Lobby to buy stuff to fix up her dollhouse)
@pandaa Most definitely would. Could pay a bill I'm behind and be able to buy some summer clothes for my kids. Maybe even one of those cheap $500 pools for them to have a great summer.
