From HERTZ
"...reaching out regarding your lost items. After reviewing your case, our lost and fond department cannot hold items for more than 30 days. Hertz is not responsible for any items that are left in our vehicles. Therefore, we cannot compensate you for the lost items."
#Hertz towed car with NO NOTICE OF ANY ISSUE, while working with rental location. Held for 8 days, and charged for same, while allowing $700 worth of items be stolen. At least there was not a false arrest warrant issued, like has happened to many people.

@hertz How is it OK to forcefully tow a vehicle, after hours when there is no one to contact while you then hold for 8 days, charging renter, all while they are on a current Rental Agreement?!
@Hertz - After you disabled and towed the vehicle I was renting, without notice, then held it for 8 days, charged me for it, and even allowed $700 in items to be stolen from the car while in your care, and basically said it was not your problem... I understand why #truthhurtz
@Hertz How many false arrests are acceptable? Many reported that Hertz told them their rental had been extended and then they were arrested for driving their rental cars."https://t.co/Fgq8KB1Ncm
#Hertz national vehicle control supervisor admitted on cross-examination...police reports do not always contain accurate payment information, contacts with customers, and that #Hertz does not correct or supplement reports that it knows are false/misleading.https://t.co/mRE42zgQyh
