I thought this should be my 1st tweet, to say hello and the reason for the name on my twitter header pic also attached here. My late Dad Jack was firing her around 3am one morning when they emerged from a tunnel (possibly Standedge) with the front wheels on fire (ctd) ..

Hi Emma @archaeobeach I was wondering if the project is still ongoing to trace the rubble’s origins and get the memorial put up? I have my own ongoing fascination with the site and would love to see some of the results of your work

I have started a petition to get signage put up at the beach!
This cause is very important to me and I want the rubble to get the recognition and respect it deserves as a key part of Liverpool’s heritage

This Christmas after almost a 12 month lay off I have been mostly building a diesel depot + lighting + jnevitable backache. I just need to clean a 15m double track and sidings plus 20 points and every loco then I can actually use it proper! 😁 #tmrguk
