@citizentvkenya@SamGituku Mimi ndio Sifuna is a nightmare to the dirty politicians who have taken Kenyans for granted for far 2 long.Take this to the bank,a time has come where this generation will vomit most of this filthy leaders using tribal card to safe guard their interest.
Thank You Kitengela. Inspite of all the harassment, intimidation and violence from this morning you showed up. They first destroyed our dais and sound equipment in the morning, the state goons have now teargassed a peaceful assembly and brought it to an abrupt end. We shall not relent.
Insurance Cartels Are Killing Quality Healthcare in Kenya
Insurance companies have placed themselves between doctors and patients, deciding which hospitals you visit, which doctors you see, which tests you take, and which drugs you receive.
They delay payments, force hospitals to demand cash, drain public funds by making SHA pay upfront, raise premiums while capping provider charges, and blackmail healthcare providers into submission.
Meanwhile, regulators like the Competition Authority and the Insurance Regulatory Authority continue to look away.
KMPDU will soon release a “List of Shame” to guide Kenyans on which insurance companies to avoid.
As we fight this injustice, let us not forget that Kiambu doctors remain on strike for 85 days, standing firm for fair treatment and dignity at work.
The message is clear: Healthcare is about People, not Profits.
We wish to express our appreciation to the thousands of Kenyans who have so far volunteered their resources, time and effort to the campaign.
In unprecedented fashion, we kicked off a people-driven campaign that is continuing to grow. The people’s call for us to provide a place for public contributions grew louder, and for us, the need grew more urgent. In response, we rolled out our fundraising platform. We chose to move ahead, not with perfection, but with courage and hope that this will begin to change our predatory campaign politics.
You have already started to walk this journey with us in humble steps. Your continued contributions and volunteer sign-up on the website is a true statement to the evolution of Kenyan politics that Kenyans have for a long time demanded . You are building this change yourselves. This is your journey.
My commitment to you, as best as humanly possible, guided by integrity and constitutional fidelity, is that of complete transparency, accountability, and in the responsible handling of your resources, data, time and effort. For those who have and continue to sign up as volunteers, we shall soon be in touch with a comprehensive structure that allows for all your talents and abilities to contribute to building the future of your most courageous dreams.
Our technical team continues to strength our digital platform’s capacity and security. This will include the public ticker on all digital fundraising platforms. We ask that you please be patient with us as we get this running strong. As those in the digital technology practice will understand, this may sometimes require downtime for brief maintenance periods.
We're also working on a system to collect and collate feedback on key items in our manifesto, so that this becomes a vision that we don't just buy into, but one that we craft together: a vision that evolves to address the growing needs of a diverse and dynamic society. So you see, this is truly your journey, and the digital platforms we are rolling out will be bold infrastructure inspired by this young and courageous generation. Our campaign reminds me that the Kenyan spirit is well and truly alive, and I am deeply honoured to share this part of it with all of you.

We need your assistance in identifying these individuals. They were part of a state-hired militia that attacked people at the KHRC office yesterday during a press conference held by Kenyan mothers. The mothers were calling for an end to arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings that occur during protests. You can watch the CCTV footage here and assist in identifying others:

KOGS urgently appeals for free passage and police escort for pregnant women in need of delivery and emergency care services.
“We haven’t had deliveries on the road yet, but during events like Saba Saba or maandamano, our greatest concern is the closure of major roads, which may hinder access to reproductive health services in hospitals. Some women may be forced to deliver in unsafe conditions, putting their lives and those of their newborns at serious risk.”
- Dr. Kireki Omanwa, KOGS President
🔸 With 6,000–8,000 maternal deaths annually, most caused by Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH), delays in care are deadly.
KOGS is calling on:
🚓 Authorities to facilitate ambulance movement and emergency response
🏥 The Ministry of Health to coordinate maternal rescue efforts
🤝 All stakeholders to prioritize maternal and newborn health
💜 Every heartbeat counts. Let’s ensure no mother is left behind.

Happy birthday bro Albert Ojwang.
Your life was mercilessly snatched away from you under the custody of those that were to protect you.
They ganged up, unleashed terror and killed you. They snatched you from your loved ones.
We remember you today. Forever in our hearts. ✊🏽
