@4milleforever I think the biggest problem with starting with an MG isn't difficulty. It's the consequences for messing up.
With a HG if you fuck it up you haven't really wasted much money or time. With an MG if you fuck it up that's devastating.
@Abay_19_VT I'm the type who'd rather fight smart and pick off enemies from outside their effective range, so I'd probably go for something like the Gundam Dynames.
Bonus points for the fact even in close combat, I'd rather have pistols than melee weapons.
@KerasiTheos@Harmony_ShineVT Skill issue bro.
Tbh even though I always bring some snacks, I don't always actually eat them. I mainly want them there as an option, because otherwise if I happen to feel snacky or thirsty 15 minutes into a 2 hour movie, I'm gonna be miserable for the rest of it.
@Ducknuck84@ZealousSeraphim It's actually likely intended to be a fusion of a Zaku and a GM, but looks like the zeon genes were dominant in most areas.
It retains the yellow vents, shield cross, and blockier shape language from GMs though (the hands in particular make this obvious)
@ZealousSeraphim Not only is that not a Zaku, but it's also not even a Zeon suit. It's made by the Federation 😂
TBF it is a Zaku successor in a way (though it's also got a bunch of details from the GM, like yellow vents, cross on the shield, and blockier shape language than a Zaku.
@Nettleseeds_Art Give it a go! Out of all the categories of miniatures and models, gunpla is one of the most beginner friendly, since all gunpla have been snap-fit for the last 40 years, and they come mostly molded in the right colors, so they look good even without any paint.
@JustAMothing@EbullientSMP If you want the God or Shining, both have AMAZING RG kits
Also If you're willing to try 3rd party, FAT CAT make an awesome upscaled 1/100 version of the RG God that comes with the PB effect parts (that's actually my fav kit on my shelf rn). There's plenty of reviews for it on YT
@JustAMothing@Geltrox Don't sleep on them. I've been building gunpla for half my life and modern entry grades are actually better than HGs imo, despite being cheaper.
I've built two HG RX-78-2s (2007 and 2015 versions) and the entry grade is better than either of them both in build and end product.
@ArmoredNorman@SHINTAB_44@Elisedd_Arian The project V suits where the very first time anyone had managed to scale down beam weaponry to mobile suit size, and it was considered a monumental accomplishment, so it wouldn't really make sense if human-sized beam weapons existed during the OYW.
@KerasiTheos Bro I relate to this way too hard. Half my artistic projects remain eternally unfinished because I got caught up on a single detail for way too long.
@4milleforever UC is the one timeline that's kinda fine to watch out of order, with limited exceptions.
Zeta has to be before ZZ, CCA after everything that released before it, Unicorn and Hathaway both after CCA, and narrative after Unicorn. Everything else you can watch whenever and it's fine
@4milleforever What I've Done by Linkin Park
Not only would it be hilarious, but the song is also thematically appropriate, AND Linkin Park have a history of collaboration with the Gundam franchise.

@cslivr I'm confused how the original poster made the leap from not knowing what something smells like to misogyny. It doesn't pass the gender-swap test at all. (A woman who heard wrong what dick smells like wouldn't be sexist for believing it. It's incorrect, not sexist)
