All good things must come to an end. After 7 glorious years, The Silph Road Team is ceasing operations. Thank you to everyone who traveled the Road over the years. Together we wrote this place into Pokémon history.

Easier to grasp this in video form, I'd say: Galaxy cluster image from @NASAHubble ...and then turned up to 11 with the #JamesWebbSpaceTelescope!

I've sourced these photos sourced from:

2. #JWST: https://t.co/d1X67SsgHL

Not an astronomer, but I overlaid today's #JamesWebbSpaceTelescope reveal with a shot of the same galaxy cluster from @NASAHubble to see a quick comparison of the detail-level. Enjoy!

We are excited to be sponsored by and working with @NianticLabs and @PokemonGoApp to help revitalize and reconnect local communities. It has been our mission to support communities, and we look forward to helping connect travelers around the world. https://t.co/5K2Z6immpS

@AustinChild3 You don’t know me and I don’t know you. Neither of us wants lawlessness and we both want what’s best for America. So take it easy. To answer your question though, I was holding a sign in those downtown protests because I want increased accountability in policing.

[Dronpes @DronpesAtWork]

Oh, my broken heart. America, how could we let this happen. Were our systems always so delicately close to chaos? We have such a difficult climb ahead. Here’s hoping enough of America can work together to systematically fix the vulnerabilities this tragedy is laying bare.

[Igor Bobic @igorbobic]

They’re in the chamber. One is up on the dais yelling “Trump won that election!” This is insane

[Dronpes @DronpesAtWork]

Who's producing the #PresidentialDebate2020? I'd be so willing to give them a TIME EXPIRED = MUTE MIC feature on the podium mics. It could even have a nice timer displayed on the podiums if they want.

An ounce of software & America won't have to live through that fiasco again.🤦‍♂️

[Dronpes @DronpesAtWork]

My kid will know a more egalitarian USA thanks to Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She overturned generalizations in federal statutes blocking women's opportunities. Reminded us political opposites can be friends. Fought cancer 5x. And for me personified American grit in uphill battles. RIP.

@pogocolosseum Sending love to Lucifran's family & friends. 💛 He was a prolific battler - few battled as hard or often. We're glad we got to have him in the Arena for the time he had. Rest in Peace, Champ.

[Silph Arena @SilphGG]

@SilphGG Love seeing these deeper dives into the experience of smaller communities participating in the competitive Season. Great work on this HeyItsPugs. Hope other community admins will give this a read!

Have you explored remote PvP tournaments yet? Read about a community's first experience battling in a LIVE remote tournament (in Nottingham, UK!) and discover how everyone can join in the fun of a tournament while staying safe! https://t.co/qtln1KpxJ1

[Dronpes @DronpesAtWork]

@PogoAndeuph @SilphGG I think you’ll find neither are particularly bothersome in Voyager. But their scarcity is a factor in them both being on the Wildcard restricted list. (Personally, I wouldn’t worry about either for my Kanto pick.)

[Silph Arena @SilphGG]

You've traveled across the land, searching far and wide. But now the time has come to show off the mastery you've gained across the regions of the Pokémon world! Choose one Pokémon from each Region + a wildcard and come show the Arena what you're made of! https://t.co/LxmtxbvD3R

[Dronpes @DronpesAtWork]

@richiebeckett85 @SilphGG Unfortunately, we don't have more time. Niantic (graciously) extended the lowered Friendship level for remote battles through Apr 30. After that even *these* tournaments may no longer be possible. Fortunately despite the format change, most competitors' event date did not change.

[Dronpes @DronpesAtWork]

@richiebeckett85 @SilphGG If we knew live events could safely resume in a few months it'd be great. But even after it's deemed safe, it takes *more* time for hosts to arrange venues & then competitors to arrange travel. It'd likely be too late. So we'll take what Niantic's made possible & do our best. 3/3

[Dronpes @DronpesAtWork]

@richiebeckett85 @SilphGG Can folks sim/hire surrogates/register for a wrong Region? To a degree. Will there be tough disputes? Yes. But the Arena's sending Hosts new resources, RSVPs are blind (no avoiding Aces) and then scrutinized, live-remote=short round-times to cut time available for sims, etc. 2/3
