@MKBHD As a whole, tech reviewers have ruined the experience of everyone finding out together.
I hope you make another video explaining how the constant content covering leaks and the employees leaking that material is killing the magic/experience of launch.
Topic: Sponsor Ads
It’s infuriating to pay (YouTube Premium) for the ability to have “ad-free & uninterrupted” streaming of content and have to scrub 30-90 seconds.
I can’t be the only one. 🤷🏼♂️
@RiggsGaming_ Most of the enemies one has is due to you having what they don’t (car, house, family, JOY, HEALTH, etc).
At 44 yo, realizing the only real enemies I ever had was ME & the Devil.
PERIOD.
Example:
A random “no name” swooping in to revive his/her 3 random teammates.
Last year I started a new YouTube channel and I didn’t promote it to my existing audience and it got over 72% of all of its 300,000 views (not Shorts) from the YouTube Homepage.
66 videos in less than 3 months.
Always uploaded around noon.
NO THUMBNAILS.
400 subscribers.
Basically all ALGORITHM TRAFFIC.
YouTube doesn’t hate small channels.
And before anyone complains “but you’re already a big name”…
I’m really not…
But you could literally just leverage any of 1 million things or people more popular than me that people care about and get views.
The problem is many Creators make what they want and get frustrated that nobody is interested…
When it’s as straightforward as tapping into existing attention.
Fill your cup… from a running well… instead of trying to get water from a stone…
Expensive shit that's worth every single penny:
• Personal Assistant
• Meal Prep / Chef
• House Cleaning
• Personal Trainer
• Tailored Clothing
• Personal Stylist
• 8 Sleep Mattress
• Dyson Vacuum Cleaner
What am I missing?
@ItsSolaraa Me too and I’ll never go back! 😂
I Should’ve used my GI Bill for a Trade School instead of University. 🤷🏼♂️
Congrats Solara!!
I wish you GREAT success!
Exceptions don’t disprove rules.
90% of channels NEVER get 10,000 subscribers.
Before YouTube Shorts 88% of videos never broke 1000 views,
Only about 3M channels are monetized and in the YouTube partner program out of 100M channels globally and 60M+ “active channels”
There are only 360,000 channels globally with 100,000 subscribers. The majority of which uploaded over 500 videos.
MrBeast made 460 videos to get 10,000 subscribers…
After 100 videos:
MKBHD has 78 subscribers
PewdiePie 2500 subscribers
MrBeast 790 subscribers
Even with all the tools and knowledge today…
Success is still the outlier exception and most creators who do it with a handful of videos?
The creators we talk about put over 100 hours into a single video to make that happen and to grow from a handful of videos.
Working class creators don’t have that luxury.
So realistically those creators will have to put in more effort, take more shots and grow more slowly than the small percentage of people who can go all in early and have more resources than them and more time to pour into crafting a video.
So for MOST people in most circumstances, they will likely not see results even with their first 100 videos…
Most of them have never had the breathing room to pour into their content.
Even with extra knowledge it doesn’t address their lack of time and energy and other priorities after 40-60 hours at the job that week… 😔
