@relic7575 I put it away for now. It was kind of bitter sweet because mom was watching my progress. And I need some time away from it lol. It's going to be an expensive and large framing project too

@relic7575 We had someone, get this, prep 3x and each time their ride (from health insurance) didn't show up. They did not do a 4th time.

I've been thinking about things like colonoscopies and other outpatient procedures where you get snowed. There are a number of reasons why people defer this testing etc. But 2 that always came up for me with clients were rides and supervision post procedure.

@relic7575 I sneak in once in awhile and read. But when I saw the prison bathroom post I laughed outloud because that is how I describe my shower.

And then they are subtlety penalized by the medical system there on out for not doing the impossible for them. Told they aren't prioritizing their health. Told they are non-compliant. Etc.

I have had clients told they can't get the procedure then or just helplessly give up. Yet another barrier put in their way.

@Minichyna01 The hoops i had to jump through were ridiculous to get the medical certification here. A significant hassle was finding a provider to certify that isn't straight judgement.

@HeyChristaMarie I didn't understand the way they do interest accrual on the student loans. I thought it was like my house or car. Boy was I wrong.

@drannamvaldez Between my own medical things and my mom's the things I have heard drifting into rooms from the nurses station make me never want to to get medical care ever. Like. Ever.
