You measure an effective journalist by how far the powers-that-be go to silence them. The 1st time you heard the name ‘Michael Proctor’ was likely from a Turtleboy report. When someone is willing to risk everything to expose vile state officials, it's a critical public service that everyone needs to stand behind in total solidarity. We need more people willing to do that, not punish those who do. Whether you like him personally is irrelevant and should not cloud your ability to recognize this.
Recently we learned that disgraced, fired trooper Michael Proctor had interviewed for the Boston Police Department prior to joining the Massachusetts State Police. BPD ultimately denied him the job.
But now, after receiving more documentation from Proctor's work history, Attorney Rosemary Scappichio says that BPD was not the only department to reject Proctor. He had applied for other unknown departments in the state and they too rejected the now decertified trooper.
Also - and what I think is most shocking - MSP rejected his first application with them as well. This puts much more context to his white supremacist group chat buddies when Proctor questioned how he even scored the MSP gig in the first place.
So the question is: after being denied once, how did MSP end up hiring Proctor? Did he complete extra training or schooling for the job? Or.. did he get a reference from someone who mattered? Perhaps someone he would eventually owe a favor to?
I went over this before but is it likely, with these new documents, that Attorney Scappichio was given all of this information and then some. And it is only a matter of time before the public finds out..
Why would Michael Proctor need to plead the fifth? Is it because there’s a new DA coming in who won’t protect him? Or is it because the feds are on his ass? It’s just a matter of time before he’s arrested, charged and flips. He’s a mentally weak head case and he’ll fold in a heartbeat.
BREAKING: fired and decertified, former trooper Michael Proctor has invoked his 5th amendment privilege and will NOT be taking the stand.
Funny how some can talk so much shit but then not say it face to face with the community members he targeted. Once a coward....
This is disturbing. It shows coordination between the judges in multiple locations. There's only one reason to hide proceedings from the public. They forget that they serve us, and we own the courtrooms they sit in. The cameras should never be turned off.
I am the defendant in a hearing today in Plymouth and they won't give me the Zoom code. The judge in Dedham also ordered the Zoom in the Rob Thompson trial to be shut off. These are public court proceedings that are being hidden from the public time and time again.

A lot of moving parts with the ongoing Clancy saga, but the Sue O'Connell @SueOC_NBCBoston interview with 3 jurors is powerful proof that the Plymouth DA should take very seriously as he considers his next move: according to 3 jurors, all 12 jurors found reasonable doubt and believed the DA failed to establish Clancy was able to form criminal intent at the time she killed her children. Add in the position of Patrick Clancy and his family, and a retrial in these circumstances would be virtually unprecedented.
This is the link to the full interviews of three of the jurors by @SueOC_NBCBoston. I have not been able to watch the interviews in full but from what I have seen, Sue has done an outstanding job with these interviews. Sue is a consummate professional and the jurors made an excellent choice with who to trust with interviews of this magnitude.

The new Elizabeth Holmes doc 'You can see everything' will probably be very good because it's by A24. But the shot in the trailer is 100% staged for promotional purposes. Nothing wrong with that, it's an amazing clip. It's just not real: https://t.co/sUh8vj1Kg9
Telling Turtleboy he’s not a real reporter because he doesn’t follow the same guidelines as you, is like telling Alex Honnold he’s not a real climber because he doesn’t use a helmet and ropes.
From my understanding, Patrick Clancy didn’t make any incriminating searches before the 911 call. He didn’t delete any “butt-dials,” snap his phone in half on a military base, or threaten anyone for asking questions. The investigators weren’t like family to him.
There is zero evidence he did anything other than endure an unimaginable nightmare.
I really hope future DA Djuna Perkins recognizes that her constituents overwhelmingly support a real investigation into the unsolved murder of John O'Keefe.
I want to thank Adam Deitch. It takes real leadership to look directly at the decay inside Norfolk County and then put everything on the line to try to fix it.
I waited 3 years for a gov official with the courage to acknowledge what everyone saw. But none of them ever did. He was the only one.
I just hope he finds a way to continue this fight in some capacity. Because we need people like him, willing to do what he is willing to do.
Norfolk DA candidate Greg Connor didn’t even achieve a place in the top 3 of his own home town of Milton. The people of Norfolk County have overwhelmingly rejected what he represents.
