If you ever feel overwhelmed or stressed, just remember:
this is normal and part of the process
its normal if you are building something from scratch
its normal if you have ambition
its normal is you have big goals in life
its just life
most people are overthinking their first launch (I did for sure)
it doesn’t need to be a masterpiece. you just need something working
ship it, get feedback, repeat. that’s it
if you ever feel stuck, remember:
most people underestimate the value of just committing to one small improvement a day
consistency > big leaps
you’ll be surprised what stacks up in 30 days
anyone else ever get stuck in comparison mode? like you see someone crushing it and suddenly your own progress feels flat
what helps you get back to your lane?
i went from zero to earning my first internet money while still doing my day job
but instead of binge watching netflix, a typical saturday looked like very similar to what it looks today:
- 7:30 hit the gym
- 10:00 call w @JoschuaBuilds on postel
- 11:00 strategy prepping for UGC creators
- 12:00 lunch w wife and son
- 13:00 strategy prepping for UGC creators VOL2
- 15:00 hosting 2 interviews, review other applicants
- 18:30 dinner
- other light work (app dev, checking campaigns, etc)
there is no win without sacrifice
anyone else ever get stuck in comparison mode? like you see someone crushing it and suddenly your own progress feels flat
what helps you get back to your lane?
the feeling when an app brings in $300/month without lifting a finger
not gonna retire off this but honestly, it feels kind of wild
for how long it can go before it declines?
sometimes the fastest way to make progress is to stop reading tutorials and just break things on your own
when I started, spent 8 months in the weeds trying to "learn everything" before actually building anything
tbh, i wish i just started sooner
