California Governor Gavin Newsom is set to sign legislation recognizing two Muslim holidays, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, as state holidays and allowing public schools to celebrate their significance.

There are over 12 million Catholics in California, yet schools have no similar authorization to celebrate the religious significance of Christmas, Easter or Good Friday.

[The Biblical Man @Biblicalman]

John leaned on Jesus' chest at supper.

Stayed at the cross when every other man ran.

Outlived all twelve. Beaten. Boiled in oil. Exiled to a rock in the ocean.

Thirty years later, Jesus appeared to him in glory.

John didn't worship. Didn't kneel. Didn't lift his hands.

He fell at His feet as dead.

As dead.

Peter did the same thing. After the miraculous catch - boats sinking under the weight - Peter didn't celebrate.

He said: "Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord."

Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up. Seraphim crying, Holy. And the prophet said: "Woe is me! for I am undone."

Job argued with God for 37 chapters. Then God showed up. Job said: "I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes."

Every tough man in the Bible who saw the living God had the same reaction.

Not awe. Not worship.

Collapse.

Now look at us.

Walking into church with coffee. Nodding at sermons. Shaking hands in the lobby. Forgetting it by Tuesday.

We think we've been in God's presence.

If you'd been in God's presence, you wouldn't walk out the same way you walked in.

The men who saw Him couldn't stand.

We can barely be bothered to sit.

When Jesus returns, there will be no more heroes. No more performers. The hero and the villain will stand equal at last - empty-handed, bare-faced, finally free to be merely beloved...

🚨 BREAKING: TRUMP JUST DROPPED THE HAMMER ON THE IRS 🇺🇸🔥
In the Oval Office, he just declared TOTAL WAR on the federal income tax.
The plan: RIP OUT the income tax system that has crushed American families since 1913… and replace it with tariffs paid by OTHER countries.
The IRS as we know it? DONE.
The American worker? Finally WINS.
This is the most aggressive tax reset in over a century. The media is already scrambling to bury it.
If this actually happens, everything changes.
Are you ready? Drop a 🔥 if you want the IRS GONE.

Promotion/relegation in USA soccer would incentivize hundreds of USA soccer clubs to create their own free-to-play youth academies and scouting networks.

The best philosophies, players, and coaches rise to the top.

Lionel Messi making the Sign of the Cross after scoring has been one of the most visible displays of Christian faith at this year's FIFA World Cup—but he hasn't been alone.

From U.S. players praying together after matches to Croatia's coach Zlatko Dalić and captain Luka Modrić attending Mass, faith has been on display throughout the tournament.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. KAROLINE LEAVITT UNLEASHED!

"REPORTER": The ICE agent k*lled her recklessly and unjustifiably!

LEAVITT: "You're a left-wing HACK, you're not a REPORTER!" 🔥

"You shouldn't even be sitting in that SEAT! You're pretending like you're a journalist, but you're a left-wing activist, and the question that you just raised and your answer proves your bias!"

"You're POSING in this room as a journalist, and it's so clear by the premise of your question!"

"You should be reporting on the facts, you should be reporting on the cases. Do you have the numbers of how many American citizens were killed at the hands of illegal aliens who ICE is trying to remove from this country? I bet you don't."

"I bet you didn't even read up on those stories. I bet you never even read about Laken Riley or Jocelyn Nungaray or all of the innocent Americans who were killed at the hands of illegal aliens in this country!"

"And the brave men and women of ICE are doing everything in their power to remove those heinous individuals and make our communities safer."

"And SHAME on people like you in the media who have a crooked view and have a biased view and pretend like you're a real honest journalist."

🫳🎤 GO OFF KAROLINE!

“After we didn’t qualify for the 2018 World Cup, Sunil [Gulati] had to step down from U.S. Soccer. That’s accountability.”

USMNT legend Tab Ramos wants accountability and changes within U.S. Soccer. He calls for President Cindy Parlow Cone to step down.

Tab was speaking with Tom Bogert for InsideAmericanSoccer show on YouTube.

“For me, this World Cup was not successful on the field,” Tab said.

“So now, it's time for accountability. And that's not just with the coach, but that's with the people above the coach, right?

“Because this is what happens. It happens in every club. It happens on every team. Somebody is accountable because you brought the coach in, and it didn't work out. And what happens? I want to hear.

“Apparently before the World Cup there was a new offer made to [Mauricio] Pochettino to continue for four years. Who made that offer?

“If we don't have a technical director, if we don't have somebody who's running the way that soccer, and I'm talking about soccer, I'm not talking about business, I'm just talking about soccer.

“If we don't have the one person there who's now dictating, what do we want to look like going into the future? Not how many shirts we want to sell, not how much we're going to fill the stadiums.

“We need to hire that person so that person can hire the coach, and now we can move in a new direction.

“So I'm hoping this is what's going to happen, that there's going to be some accountability from U.S. Soccer, that this is not going to be brushed off into, ‘Hey, we made $400 million in this World Cup.’

“Nobody cares you made $400 million. What we care about is that our team gets better and that we get closer to what the best teams in the world look like.

“After we didn't qualify for the 2018 World Cup, Sunil had to step down from U.S. Soccer, right? That's what happens. That's accountability.

“You have to leave and somebody new comes in. I think for me, with what I've seen from the senior national team for the last eight years, at some point it has to fall with the person above.

“Which for me, it’s the president. So at this point, I think what would be good for U.S. Soccer is if we had the president step down.

“We can vote for a new president who has new ideas, new ways of doing things.

“And I'm not saying the business part. Again, JT Batson may be the greatest business CEO ever. He can stay there. That doesn't really affect or matter to me at all.

“What matters is that we need to have more soccer people. And I think at this point, we likely need a new president, we need a new sporting director who will hire the new head coach.”

Do you agree with Tab? 👀

[United Soccer America @reformussoccer]

Pochettino said the quiet part out loud:

“American sport rewards losers.”

No promotion.
No relegation.
No real consequence for finishing last.

That is not a competitive soccer culture. That is comfort protected by a closed cartel.

Open the pyramid.

The soccer system in America works exactly as it’s designed. It’s designed to make people a bunch of money from suburban parents opening a check book.

Until the system is changed we won’t do anything of note on the world stage.

They won’t - you know they won’t

It is time for real club soccer and promotion/relegation in the USA.
