A minute’s silence was impeccably observed in school yesterday as a mark of respect for the late Queen Elizabeth II. Children took part in assemblies during the day - learning about the life of this inspirational and dedicated monarch.
Year 5 sailing @AS_Centres Portsmouth - Langston Harbour. Amazing three days sailing, Kayaking, stand up paddle boarding in perfect conditions. All children achieved their RYA Youth Sailing scheme Stage 1. Used lots of their skills for learning and school values and laughed lots!
From planes to robots, from gravity to static electricity, from shooting stars to different planets, then all the way to plants and trees and now kangaroos! All in one assembly! A wonderful, engaging and funny whiz through different aspects of science. The children loved it!
Congratulations all who competed in the Hampshire Cross Country Finals today. Such an achievement to qualify. A special 👊👍 to Tilly Horn for finishing 2nd in the girls race and therefore qualifying for the Southern Counties final in Chelmsford later in the month!
Year 6 residential at Calshot - aiming for new personal targets and enjoying wonderful, challenging and enjoyable experiences (in their new leavers hoodies)!

Young Shakespeare Company performing ‘Hamlet’ to Year 3/4 in the morning and 5/6 this afternoon. Simply fantastic! The children loved it and the actors were full of praise for our children and school. (We all chuckled about the king’s flag)
Thank you @youngshakeco
Such a great Year 3 camp. Well done everyone involved - Droxford staff, parents, year 6 children who taught today and of course year 3 children.
