@BradRTorgersen I've been adjacent to govt work my entire life. (Both parents, & now my hubs.)
Looking from a VERY close outside, it seems the contractors & sub-conts bust their asses while the govt project mngrs f*ck off & bill drunk lunch & dinner 'biz meetings' to the taxpayers.
@PelosiTracker_ That's a surprisingly blunt demonstration on how little you care about why your constituents put you in office and exactly how large of a self-absorbed asshole you're capable of being.
Great job putting that out there on the forevernet, Dan.
Your voters will appreciate it.

Since you're discussing your own children, maybe delete the "mental disorder" quip; focus more on "cult of personality", "peer pressure", & "fear mongering".
You DO want a relationship w/ them & your eventual grandkids in the future, yes?
@ajtourville You say this as if it never occurred to you that ten/mo is *nothing* to a click farm raking in thousands/mo and is no barrier to entry whatsoever.
A blue check verifies a digital transaction; it does not verify humanity.
@ACTBrigitte The knowledge that a mass of ppl from different regions carry & spread regional bugs, viruses, allergens, etc.
Anyone who has flown on a plane and suffered what's infamously known as "Convention Crud" understands perfectly.
It's not political; it's smart action to STAY healthy.
@TristanSnell I'm curious how you arrive at the conclusion that a "cratered" construction market would make the value of existing houses go down?
Wouldn't simple economics (& logic) be that "no new houses being built" equals "existing houses increase in value"?
