LIFE UPDATE:

I have accepted the Orthopaedic Surgery Research Fellowship at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio!

Unfortunately, I did not match into an Orthopaedic Surgery residency position this year. It was a brutal year in which only 45% of DO’s applying Orthopaedics successfully matched. I decided against applying for the unfilled residency spots in other specialties and to continue to chase my dream of becoming an Orthopaedic Surgeon.

It was an incredibly tough time finding out that I did not match and trying to figure out where to go from there. Thank you to everyone that helped me through it! I wouldn’t have been able to land this opportunity without y’all. I will be applying for Orthopaedic Surgery again this year. Next stop, Toledo! #orthotwitter #Match2024 #Match2025
