I was following a lead recently on rumors of some sort of ghostly presence in a town I was passing through.
I'd almost missed the true nature of this one, but a good necromancer never misses the chance to analyze an undead they've never seen before.

@NyoroEevee Not quite the mutable Eidolons, but during my research I noted that the wraith has some level of connection to another type of spirit that binds itself to those strong enough, specifically I found it similar to the Phantoms that attach themselves to Spiritualists.

Though I would imagine any adventuring would likely have to be done with the express permission of the Keepsake itself, which I find less than likely in most circumstances due to the possessive nature required to create this spirit in the first place.

It still feels so strange finding new varieties of dragons on Earth. You spend so much time learning about Coppers and Reds and Gold dragons back home, but as it turns out most of those monsters mostly only really inhabit my home world, and are not universal.

It's been a while since I've felt the warm glow of a holy weapon near me, but even so I recognized it immediately as I passed a girl that seemed far too fragile to wield one properly.

Apologies for the delays, Ryo has been working non-stop on some kind of project after his excursion with Lilk and demanded both of us stay home to "test" his work, leaving none of us with much time to explore.
I did, however, finally get some time off to continue my journey.

Curiously, I'm finding more and more that if I run into any individuals of the cloth, they seem, rather than giving worship to any one god from the pantheons, they instead seem to gain power from Heaven as a whole.

This might be related to my research.

Despite what you might expect, "spirits" that don't encompass the ghostly sort seem to be a blind spot for me.

Call it habit to be wary considering my "occupation", but the those of Heaven (or any Celestial) and I have never quite seen eye to eye.
As such, it was a rather relieving to find someone from there who didn't immediately force us both into deadly conflict.

It's been nice to leave the lair, I spent so much time cooped up while I manifested the results of my recounting of that other timeline, it's almost refreshing to be back out in the world, documenting and notating potential threats in the present rather than just in memory.

This... "Council", these... heralds, I believe they may be the key to all of my research up to this point. Curiously, they claim to be guardians of entire domains instead of one god in particular. This one, for instance, calls herself a Keeper of Nature.
