@knowledge_fight 9 people get added to waiting lists every minute, and 17 people die every day waiting for an xplant.
Please consider becoming an organ donor (you can also be a living donor for kidneys, liver, bone marrow, etc). And tell your friends and family about your wishes. <3
@knowledge_fight 16+ years kidney transplant recipient here :) If you are on the list, you first need to match medically (blood type, antigens, etc.) to the donor organ, and then there are strict variables about how long you've been on the list, and THEN other factors come in.
@native4data Someone once said to me, "It doesn't matter how you get in the door. It matters what you do once you're in."
Oh, and it's not like it's always smooth sailing once you're in the door, either LOL.
@TheKaitster It’s at times like this I miss my dad❤️. He was a psychologist and professor. He would be walking me thru every psych scenario, and I would be there for it. I was the kid who could explain psychopath vs sociopath bc that’s how we bonded lol. Hugs to your dad!!! ❤️Cait
@GeorginaF_Homer BIG HUGS! I had 4 miscarriages--one of them at 21 weeks. I think one reason talking makes people uncomfortable is how profoundly devastating and life-altering the grief can be. The other person can feel helpless. But just listening and sharing a hug can go a long way to help. <3
There are tangents, there are rants, there are totally unexpected twists—and that's just the fairytale.
The Gals are back! To celebrate, enjoy one of our most EPIC Patreon episodes ever.

Who says the ancients didn't have a sense of humor? They did...it was just a little off....and maybe a little bloody.
Yes, we had tech issues. April Fool's to me.

Curses are the Hallmark cards of the ancient world: one for every occasion. To celebrate NOT Valentine's Day, we explore how the ancients used to sh*t-posting about their exes.

@DrPacoHinton What really REALLY gets me is that when you actually look at Greco-Roman mythology, you have murder, incest, rape, bestiality (yes, looking at you, ZEUS), misogyny, etc. But people STILL revere all this as the foundation of Western civ...which actually explains a LOT. Lol.
@DrPacoHinton Thanks for the follow - and just want to say that I am also always in varying states of rage, mostly because if you go all the way back to mythology, you find out that NOTHING IS NEW. LOL
