@1681wolfman@KeeganMatheson I’d say Shapiro and Atkins trust him and Schneider is following orders. Money ball details how badly Shapiro was at sabermetrics sometimes doubling down on the wrong things. I feel that’s the case here
@SeeRacists The guy in the hat needs to learn that you’re often judged by the company you keep. You can’t blame someone for being upset after being provoked by a friend sitting at your table. Sometimes people find out that actions have consequences. FAFO @TizzyEnt
@EVYSTADIUM We were .500 with exactly the same record as last year. We could go one game above with a 4 run lead and Hoffman on the mound. We lost that game and now 5 others in a 6 game span. It certainly ain’t Hoffman
@RealDonBradshaw @JeffStanzel1 I agree, but I think Shapiro deserves plenty of blame. Shapiro was more steward than architect in Clev and plays the same role for Rogers. Schneider struggles, but Shapiro believes this works. Moneyball slams Shapiro as someone who uses analytics without truly understanding them.
a 9-5 corporate job that pays $400K a year is like hitting the cosmic lottery. you have a higher quality of life than almost everyone that has ever lived in the history of the planet earth
@oldviennalager Also I’m always highly skeptical of funds that have no other vintages than this one they are launching and are staffed by kids just out of university.
@oldviennalager If this is all about free markets and affordable rent then let the distressed condos go into foreclosure. The market will correct itself that way. The only people that win are developers who are getting inflated prices and the fund that collects the management fees
