We recognize that both Druze and Christians made mistakes in the past. Those mistakes came at a great cost and affected our presence and future in the Eastern Mediterranean.
But history has also taught us something important: our partnership is essential to our well being, and our future lies in a strategic partnership built on mutual respect, dignity and shared interests.
For more than nine centuries, Druze and Christians in Mount Lebanon have shared a history of coexistence, peace, harmony and prosperity. When the Druze were led by those who did not truly represent their interests or identity, we drifted away from our rightful path.
Today, we are correcting that path. We are being true to ourselves, to our roots and to the mountain.
Together, with our Christian brothers and sisters, we will reclaim what is ours and work toward a better future for Mount Lebanon.
We recognize that wounds remain on both sides. They must be acknowledged, healed and replaced with trust.
Our sons and daughters deserve better. They deserve to live, thrive and build their future in their homeland, Mount Lebanon.
We read history not to remain trapped in it, but to learn from it.
The future is ours to build, together.

They imposed false identities upon our Druze people in Mount Lebanon. For generations, Arabism and Islamism were imposed upon us, pulling us away from the truth of who we are.
We may have drifted from our roots, but we never truly forgot them. Deep within us, we know who we are. We feel our roots running through these mountains, carried by the spirit of wisdom that has guided our people through darkness and toward the light.
After a century of being lost in causes that do not belong to us, we are correcting our path.
We are returning to our truth. Embracing our identity. Reconnecting with our roots.
And lighting the way for ourselves, and for the generations yet to come.
Back to our roots. Back to ourselves.
For more than a century under Greater Lebanon, the Druze have seen their political rights, identity, and presence in Mount Lebanon steadily eroded.
Greater Lebanon has had a disastrous impact on our people. The Lebanese Republic has failed, and it has failed us.
We have the right to self determination. We no longer want to remain trapped under a system that has repeatedly failed its people. It is time to seek a new path toward self governance.
Our future lies in returning to Mount Lebanon, our ancestral homeland. Together with our Christian brothers and sisters, as the indigenous communities of these mountains, we can build a new life rooted in dignity, freedom, identity, and mutual respect.
A future where we preserve who we are and build something better for our sons and daughters.
Mount Lebanon is our home. Its future must be decided by its people.
🚨‼️#German tv @dw_arabic has entered the cirkus of cheap propaganda against #Druze that preceded the genocidal ethnic cleansing campaign of #BlackJuly in 2025 that portrayed #Suwayda as drug trafficking capital. This is the #Islamist Julani propaganda that aims to demonise #Druze
@GermanyDiplo is so disparate to return Syrian refugees & appeasing #HTS terrorists!

Let this be clear: none of the political figures claiming to represent the Druze people in Mount Lebanon represent us.
Every so called “Druze” politician has chosen to serve someone else’s agenda. Iranian, Qatari, Saudi, Turkish, or Islamist interests have repeatedly taken precedence over the interests, identity, and future of our own people.
We stand firmly with the people of Mount Lebanon in returning to our roots. To embrace our true identity. To be unapologetic. To be bold. To be true to the ancestors who fought, endured, and preserved our presence on this sacred land.
Our identity is not a political commodity. Our heritage is not a bargaining chip.
It is rooted in thousands of years of wisdom, dignity, kindness, and honor.
We know that a new chapter is being written for Mount Lebanon.
And we intend to be part of writing it.
@MountlbNexus 💯🇸🇨 we don’t need rigged elections with designed laws that keeps warlords at the helm of leadership while they send their thugs to steal and do drug trafficking. I mean @walidjoumblatt the traitor! 🤡

🚨✝️Statement issued by the parish of St. Michael #Church in the afflicted and occupied village of Al-Surah Al-Kabira, #Bashan Mountain:
For the second time, our Christian graves have been desecrated. Bodies were dug up, dragged out, and thrown into the streets with no regard for the sacred dignity of the dead. Statues of the Virgin Mary and #Jesus Christ inside the burial chambers were smashed.
A Christian delegation from our parish bought locks and repaired the doors after returning what remained of the bodies, hoping at least that the hands of the perpetrators would finally leave our dead in peace.
#Druze 🇸🇨 graves have suffered the same barbarity more than once. These acts of hatred against both our communities only deepen division at the very moment #Syria most needs respect for human dignity, freedom of belief, and the right of its indigenous peoples to live securely on their ancestral land. The right of self determination is embedded in the UN human rights of religious freedom @SDM_Swaida.
We, the sons and daughters of St. Michael’s parish, remain steadfast. We demand the safe return of all displaced residents of our villages. We call for real protection and the right of Christians and Druze of Bashan Mountain to determine our future together in peace and mutual solidarity.
Our faith seeks peace. We will not abandon this land — or each other.

A chapter in which future generations are secure in their identity and no longer governed by imposed narratives that have distorted, marginalized, and hijacked our history and our presence in these mountains.
Our hand is outstretched to everyone who stands with us for a better future for Mount Lebanon.

💔🕊️- Nour was 16.
A #Druze girl from Suwayda.
She never asked for much, only to see the sea once before she died. Nour was displaced from her home in #BlackJuly2025 when #Islamists launched a genocidal campaign against #Druze. With #Suwayda being under siege and collapsed hospitals that were targeted couldn’t help her.
So #Israel offered with treatment. When it wasn’t possible to save her life. The Doctors at Sheba gave her what little time she had left… and fulfilled her one wish. She saw the Mediterranean for the first and last time.
This week, Nour is gone.
While #Arabic media stays silent on the massacres of Druze in Black July 2025 — the executions, the burned villages, the 1,700+ dead — they also stay silent on the quiet tragedies that follow.
No headlines for the children who die waiting for medicine that never comes.
No outrage for a girl whose only dream was the sea.
Nour’s story is not just one girl’s goodbye. It is the sound of a community being erased — first by violence, then by silence. Remember her name. 🕊️💔

🚨🇸🇨 The people of Sweida are still suffering.
Hospitals short on supplies. Families without support. Futures hanging by a thread.
But the diaspora is fighting back.
An independent, transparent Rescue Fund — free from political control, run by a periodically elected committee — is already delivering aid for health, education, and sustainable livelihoods.
No empty slogans. 🕊️🤍
