🚨 Urgent Appeal : Sweida Needs Water and Electricity

For the past 3 days, approval to repair the 66 kV power line has remained delayed, causing more than 50% of water wells to go out of service and leaving large areas of Sweida and the city of Shahba without a reliable water supply.

For the past 5 days, the entry of diesel fuel into Sweida has continued to be blocked, worsening the crisis affecting essential services, transportation, and water access.

Water and electricity are not luxuries. They are basic necessities of life.

‼️We urgently call on the United Nations and international organizations to:

🚩Monitor the situation in Sweida.

🚩Ensure access to water, electricity, and fuel for civilians.

🚩Prevent essential services from being used as tools of pressure against the population.
