@Owen_Stephens School D&D group. Kids mostly traded minis and chatted. Probably around 1987. So, guessing it was D&D 1st edition. I played a ninja. Because everyone was ninja mad at the time. My little lead ninja mini was painted in thick enamel Humbrol paint slathered on with a £ shop brush.
@BraddockClan@prophet_idyll Captain Britain template’s completely redundant for Betsy, it gives her nothing cant do with her telepathy/telekinesis/precog in a much more interesting and natural way. She doesn’t need flag-drag. If Betsy was given the CB test she would’ve ended up with the sword of might.
@BraddockClan@TCLangWrites@HowdyDuda Groundbreaking… like an American who’s never been to the UK’s idea of what “British” is, lol. What’s next a Harry Potter reference and a Dick Van Dyke Chimney Sweep cameo…
@MStraussWrites@mymonsterischic Best book marvel is putting out right now. Leah Williams knows these characters and gets their voices perfectly. Laura hasn’t sounded this authentic for ages.
@CanonEMEApro@CanonUKandIE My advice: Don’t buy Canon camera gear. I’ve spent 7-10,000 on Canon over the years. They recently repaired my R6 but actually broke it, no help fixing it in time for a job I have. Customer service guy told me I should have bought 2 cameras instead wtf
It's sad to me that Marvel never marked the 30 year anniversary of DHII in any way, shape or form, so I wrote/drew this 2 page 90's parody story. I designed him and drew the series, with Dan Abnett writing, Andy Lanning on inks, Helen Stone on colors. Happy Birthday Minion, yes?
@HuAn12801646 Make Brian Captain Britain again. Put out an ongoing book about Braddock Academy. It’d be like Hogwarts meets Bond meets Doctor Who. Use the VAST amount of Marvel UK characters to fill out the cast. Excalibur could be an MI:13 sanctioned team working out of the academy.
@HuAn12801646 Failing that, Betsy as Psylocke in her own body as she was during X-Men Disassembled. Leading a team again.
She doesn’t suit Captain Britain. Adding that template smothers her. She works best as the capable and courageous psionic fighter with a cold “get things done” attitude.
