@frederickjames Might be a noob question due to lack of context because I just stumbled upon your profile. What do you mean by “cracked” AppStore page in your article?
@denk_tweets Just want an awesome tool like beehiiv to be even better instead of having chokepoints like above for the users who wish to integrate with third party tools to automate certain tiny aspects.
Cheers
@denk_tweets We need to share sensitive passport data or govt. issued photo id to stripe to get a simple API key on beehiiv. Serious friction for users. None of your competitors require this. Using ur api with integration is supposed to make my life easy. This does the opposite.
@pbteja1998 This integration is awesome. More so I am always mesmerised by the beautiful UI of your applications. What tech/tools do you use to convert your designs into front-end code ?? And how much time does it take you?
Knowing about this would help me and others a lot
Cheers :)
@DsMatie Hi Mat!
How do you end up finding the person incharge?
I am looking out for the same in possible clients for my saas and the best I can get is a support email id or worse I land in a person's inbox who manages the clients social media page.
@elonmusk Bad move. For me public likes were a great way of discovery. Whenever a person I followed liked something I got that in my feed and mostly it was inline with my content preference. Discovered a ton of new creators this way. Algo deciding our feed is exactly why we hate insta & fb
@tibo_maker One app to do it all doesn't work in an open market unlike China. There will be someone doing it specialised and better. You know what we call an app that lets us do it all in an open market? The internet. Buying something on twitter has same friction as opening Amazon to buy.
@phuctm97 I found it like a slightly worse copy of insta than a comparable copy of twitter because of insta crowd and too many videos. Hence did not feel like using it. I am intrigued and want to understand what is making you spend time on it?
But its just been 2 days since launch. The entire current algo is probably a temporary blitzscaling step. A better tailored feed with less videos must be enough to make it a solid competitor in mainstream social media space. A text extension to Insta for insta crowd to start with
Threads app can succeed only if they focus on being a "predominantly text" extension to Insta. Allowing videos & photos on an app with Insta crowd will naturally turn it into a "video first" platform. Insta will always be better at it than threads. Hence users won't stick around.
Twitter without word limit is such a turn off for readers. Long articles lack being precise and concise. I can read a thread with 100 tweets but I can't stay on a tweet with more than 10 lines. Feels much like linked in crap now.
@elonmusk bring back word limit for all. Please?
@latestinspace Can all these not just be created by Martian winds and strange blizzards that keep happening there? Genuinely interested to know how it's concluded that they were definitely formed by liquid and stayed undistorted for centuries in the presence of wind and blizzards.
@paraschopra@kanishkdudeja would appreciate any views on the above point? Because until now atleast, index funds surely meant decent stable returns in long term for retail investors who didnt want to nit-pick stocks for whatever reasons. Do you see that changing due to the above rule change?
@paraschopra With the recent change by SEBI after which loss making startups can IPO too and make it to the index fund with their insane initial valuations, dont you think that index funds would stop being this dependable?
Cryptos have a small chance of making it as an acceptable currency in major economies with own central currencies. Govts. hate to lose control. Govts. will prefer CBDC any day over crypto.
The only chance crypto has to make it, as a currency, is if govt. doesn't understand it.
