While watching fireworks on the 4th of July, I realized that ALS had taken this experience from my family! @Neuralink gave me that back!
It is hotter than Satan’s armpit in Arizona for the 4th, even at night. We didn’t bother going to fireworks when it was 105F at night.
In Murray UT, right next to our hotel, it was 75F and pleasant! We enjoyed the fireworks together as a family.
We were close enough to hear the mortars launch, the thump of PVC pipes and a sudden vacuum.
Abigail squealed with delight with each explosion of color, “so big!”
Edison said he had never seen a show like that. He was 3 when I was diagnosed and 5 when I got the tracheostomy. So he hasn’t.
I have been in Washington DC for the 4th and inauguration fireworks. They were both spectacular!
Independence Day 2025 was better, sweeter, more important.
Thank you Neuralink!
