@Rob_Motto How do you get shot in the abdomen and pull up probably a 150 pound woman, free hanging dead weight? Lol. I literally read a review that said “if you’re willing to abandon logic” in this type of movie I’m not. This ain’t Sci-fi fantasy lol
The movie “Drop” was terrible, not one part of that movie was tied together or made any logical sense. Acting and maybe one or two decent distractions made it “ok” to watch but plot wise, awful. Also, why did the killer in the movie have the strength of Deadpool? #FilmTwitter
So about Sinners…. It could have done without the vampires, easily could have made its point and kept the thriller title. A few great scenes especially the time capsule during the party. But it doesn’t make up for having zero real story. #Filmtwitter
Conclave is honestly fresh air watching Oscar nominees. I finally found a good one out of this list. I was starting to question the Oscar’s for a second 😂 #FilmTwitter
@Rob_Motto Sad part for me is I think it had a ton of potential. Mikey Madison was a great casting decision. The story had a good foundation to build off of, first act was way too long for no reason. I got the point in the first 20 minutes. Should have been 10x better.
Anora didn’t have a story too it whatsoever. No character arch, you barely know who the main character is leaving no protagonist. The Russian Kid was highly random and you never understand who his parents are. It’s a movie about marrying a stripper in Vegas. #Filmtwitter
I don’t know, do we really not like Electric State or you just have something against the Russo brothers? I’m in the minority that thought it was a decent movie, not a world beater but one you could enjoy. P.S. I thought Endgame was a snooze fest. #ElectricState#FilmTwitter
@Rob_Motto I still can’t get over them trying to make De Niro 35 years old in that movie lmao. They should have let someone play him when he was younger
Watching Heretic and Mickey 17 made me come to the realization of why movies are starting to suck, it’s like when you walk into an art museum and you see a painting that looks like a 5 yr old did and you just love the message. In reality is a terrible painting #Filmtwitter
@Rob_Motto You could call rocky dead but objectively those movies have done nothing but make more and more in the box office with every sequel and that’s pretty rare. Not only that every movie has turned a good profit and received good reviews. I’d be ecstatic to be involved lol
@Rob_Motto I like Michael B Jordan in the Creed movies. Those were pretty successful too. Played Killmonger pretty well. Not too many others tho I enjoyed that much. Croogers director credits are really on big name movies that were established except one.
@Rob_Motto I was just watching the ad when it came up before Mickey 17, Sincerely was like this movie is about to awesome, then the vampire shit hit and I just knew there was a catch. Idk why but ever since Covid the movie biz has gotten frail
@Rob_Motto Just watched it, had like 5 plots, characters that didn’t make any sense and things that happened for basically no reason lol. I liked some parts and I thought Pattinson did a pretty good job, story itself was bad, reminded me of a Jordan Peele film.
@TateTheTalisman Alcohol is much much worse than weed. It’s more addictive, it’s ruined just as many families as opioids or Amphetamin. Only reason weed was ever wrong is because the social stigma that was put around it. Weed last a couple hours and all you do is laugh, not beat your wife up.
@Rob_Motto I personally like the way they tied the first one into this one. The story of the kid, they slowly brought in Maximus, they made it dramatic with the stakes in those fights. I agree there were a few things that were a little out of hand, but I enjoyed it for the most part
@Rob_Motto I liked the movie overall, a few far fetched things but overall a decent story. I think this is the first time I didn’t like a Denzel character though.
