Happy National Thomas Jefferson Day! 🇺🇸
Today we honor the man who defined our fundamental American rights. In Illinois, we’re keeping that spirit alive by fighting for limited government and personal freedom every single day.
I want to shout out Club America Wheeling High School on getting approved today. This is the first time Charlie’s alma mater has had a TPUSA chapter. After so many months finally approved! Congratulations!

Chicago schools after decades of Democratic leadership. DuPage has only been institutionally Democratic for 6–8 years. If the trend continues, DuPage will be next.
Last Friday, a group of Taft High School students beat up a man at Higgins and Nagle during a walkout protest. It’s unclear what sparked the attack. #chicagoscanner
Big thank you to the DuPage GOP for inviting the YRs and hosting a fantastic Lincoln Day Dinner. Looking forward to change DuPage together! 🔥🇺🇸

An armed robbery in the West Loop. In broad daylight.
This isn’t the Chicago people built. The West Loop was once a symbol of revitalization — thriving businesses, families walking the streets, restaurants and entrepreneurs investing in our city.
Now even our safest, most successful neighborhoods are being targeted.
This is what happens when leadership weakens consequences, ties the hands of law enforcement, and prioritizes politics over public safety.
Crime doesn’t stay contained. It spreads.
Illinois deserves a Governor who will restore law and order, support police officers, hold violent offenders accountable, and end policies that embolden criminals.
As a Sheriff for 30 years, I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. Public safety isn’t complicated — it requires leadership, accountability, and the courage to enforce the law.
We will take our streets back.

Huge congratulations to Alek and Harlem HS Club America for courageously standing up in support of law enforcement, even in the face of harassment and pushback from fellow students. After Alek’s flag was torn apart, they still refused to back down and stood firm in their beliefs, a powerful example of resilience and conviction.

DuPage Republicans, keep an eye on this terrific young Republican … Jack Py. He’s done a lot of hard work for Republican causes and has eloquently spoken at recent Council meetings. Nice work Jack!
