Thanks to Biden's "invite-the-world" open border policies, fentanyl smuggling increased 480% in 2023 (that's right, 480%) compared to 2020 - in other words, during Joe Biden's presidency.
I wonder what the percent increase has been in terrorists intending to do America serious harm.
Some data suggest that as many as 35% of illegal migrants were aided by human trafficking gangs.
The border should be absolutely closed (to the ability possible) - with all illegals prevented from entry. Only those with legal permits to cross should be allowed access with all others deported immediately. The only exception should be to reunify families when one family member (husband, wife or child only) is in the U.S. legally.
This is NOT about being hateful or not recognizing the benefit of immigrants to the U.S. It is all about knowing who is entering the country and for what purpose.
Further, no person who entered the U.S. illegally (ever) should be granted government (state or federal) identification or ever be allowed to case a vote.
I fully recognize that the Mexican border to the U.S. is porous. This should not be used as an excuse to aim high at changing the illegal entry into the U.S. of people and drugs, drugs, drugs.
