Solana is the most obvious contrarian play in markets

i) crypto will continue to grow

markets, traders, and consumers will continue to come onchain

there is no stopping crypto at this point

ii) Solana has proven consistently for the past 4 years that it is a top destination for builders, traders, and consumers

iii) It has done this through a combination of unmatched engineering execution, the attracting of world-class product talent, and a maniacal focus on the user

it has shown that it can execute in the harshest conditions

iv) it has structural advantages that are hard to replicate. a giant global state machine that can actually be censorship resistant and performant translates to concentrated liquidity, great UX, and rapid experimentation

v) this has resulted in it being top 1 and 2 in basically all metrics including revenues, volumes, developers, startups, growth rate, etc

vi) yet people might discard all of the above because

people also launch shitcoins on it (just like all other chains)

vii) importantly, Solana does not require that you be bearish another asset

look at the history of any tech race, it is *always* pareto distributed to the top 2-4

mobile: ios and android (google, samsung, huawei, apple)

pc: windows, mac, linux

cloud: aws, gcp, azure, do

gaming: ps, xbox, nintendo

cars: too many to name

ai: chatgpt, gemini, claude

mobile carriers, msging apps, social media — always the same story

you do not need to believe that Solana will be the only chain, you just need to believe that it will continue to execute, as it always has
