The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney
@WaynePolk195412@archeohistories If you're in Africa you'll see they left a lot behind. The most prominent that the west can't ignore are often regarded as non African or even Alien. And by the way west also blankets what early north, Central and south Americans left behind.
In some companies, employees hide their employer's mistakes, and employers do the same in return. This is unhealthy and stands in the way of improvement because it prevents people from bringing their mistakes and weaknesses to the surface, encourages deception, and eliminates subordinates' right of appeal. #principleoftheday
The simple answer is what Christ told his disciples, i.e.
1. Love your God with all your heart
2. Love your neighbor like yourself
These two when depicted by our words and actions are what build this connection
A church building can be a perfectly well designed temple or one with cracks and leaks. We however both experience the presence of God through its members (our neighbors) who are connected with Him as our body is the temple of God.
Like buildings our body can have "cracks/leaks and always be improved" as no man is perfect. The presence of God's connection with us however makes our body sacred as God is Holy. So do you know you're connected with God?
@Magicreceipt@TheGhanaWeb Disgusting tribalism! What a shame to read these as a Ghanaian. Kwame Nkrumah established equity and peace such that a kid in Kumasi could opt for Ewe. I experienced this in Takoradi and now you guys (including the chief) want to ruin our foundation
The rich man who wanted to join Christ's disciples but walked away due to vanity tells us that God always leaves the decision to us

@AbdulRaufIbra20 If today's exchange flips back to $1 = GHS 17 in a couple of months you can then say Ato Forson manipulated the system to cheat hardworking cocoa farmers
Always asking, 'who's my neighbor?' is only an excuse to justify avoiding the commandment, love your neighbor as yourself. A just and God loving person would rather ask, how can be a neighbor to this fellow?

Peter failed to resist temptation by denying Christ 3 times, but Christ prayed for him to #recover. The devil is never in control until we give up and/or fail to rise up from sins that binds our soul to the devil with perpetual guilt.

Making our presence a present to others, like Christ does for us is crucial to making life worth living for ourselves and others. The emotional sense of importance it gives is priceless.

Success often makes us prey like fruits to birds, but falling is key to rise again in a transformed way. Just remember you might have to give up what you have like a fruit rotting before the seed(s) within you grow to bear more #quotes#meditation_with_the_holytrinity
Maintaining the balance between 'I love you because..', and 'because I love you...' could help guide us on the right path. #quotes#meditation_with_the_holytrinity
