It isn’t a real conversation until we stop treating all homeless situations the same. There is tremendous distinction between the families who can’t afford appropriate shelter and the addicts and other check-outs are also unhoused. One needs a hand, the other needs a shoulder. So Monday… they get sent to Dallas. Every flight has been a delay- this one cost the Dallas -> Denver connection at 3:30. No problem! Got rebooked on the 630 to Denver. Now it has been delayed 4 times, and now departs at 11:15pm. What is going on @AmericanAir ?????

11 folks came back from the Dominican Republic Saturday, except @AmericanAir hasn’t managed to get 6 of them home yet. Stuck now in Dallas, and I have little faith they get home tonight. What a disaster

Dominican Republic to Miami Saturday. Weather cancels the connection to Denver. Stranded everyone, then after much drama- and a self paid hotel, 6 of them get to Philadelphia Sunday- where their connection to Denver was canceled; at like 8pm Sunday night, nobody at the desks… 2 hour phone wait…

For the first 1000 years, the church would answer "why did Jesus have to die" with something like "Christus Victor" - Christ the Victor. Briefly, mankind was tricked in the garden, fell into sin and agency was transferred to Satan by our sin.
