@6thumbs @FNCreate I think they send it out to all non-American creators before the end of the year because that’s the end of their fiscal year, so they need forms all updated to send everyone their receipts in Jan for Feb/March filing.

@6thumbs @FNCreate If you’re not American but receiving income from an American entity, you need to fill out a W-8BEN & submit to the IRS or the paying entity every 3 years. You can check validity of your W-8BEN with the paying partner, the IRS, or your local tax authority (CRA in Canada).

@MrViceKC @elitefnc We’re not talkin about the game industry, we’re talking about UGC. UEFN isn’t Hollywood, it’s YouTube.

This is how people consume UGC. They bounce within seconds if it doesn’t hit.

It’s on the creator to capture them that quick. Not on the consumer to change normal behaviour.
