NBA is changing.
Perimeter defense is the single most important aspect of winning in the NBA at the moment and in the future.
Long aggressive wing defense is the trait teams need to pursue above all else even at the cost of better offense.

@samesfandiari If Yaxel is still there this would be malpractice. He’s four years older but it might take 4 years for Lopez to reach Yaxel’s current level. If he does.
@samesfandiari@TommyGunnNBA Kerr, Lacob, JK all at fault. I guess it’s true that Lacob kept the whole terrible dynamic locked up by not letting go of things a year (or more) ago.
@samesfandiari@TommyGunnNBA Kerr also suffering from “disease of me.”
It’s true that JK seemingly chose to stop trying at some point this year. But Kerr never showed the willingness to be flexible for the sake of the team, just like he asks all of his players—except Steph (rightly) and Dray (wrongly).
@TheBBallSage MIN makes sense with the Great Lakes region teams—all in the East. Other WC teams are far away.
Geographically it would make some sense to bring back VAN with SEA. I know there's no noise about them, but would make more sense than adding a fourth team to the Pacific Southwest
@automaticnba It's a terrible roster. But it's terrible because organizationally, they are designed to defer to Steph on offense, rely on Draymond on defense and they prioritize "IQ" over everything else—shot making, athleticism, size…every time. Except with their lottery picks, LOL.
@RexxLifeAri Had Mexican food in New York once. Horrible decision. Not so much because it was bad—which it was—but more because there is so much other variety of excellent ethnic food there. But a good carnitas burrito is about as good as eating gets.
