The Evolution of Computer Science (Software Engineering particularly):
1. Earlier generations of computer scientists built foundational systems - compilers, operating systems, databases, working close to the hardware with minimal abstraction.
2. Our generation largely builds products on top of these foundations: applications, frameworks, and services that wrap and compose existing systems.
3. We are now entering another transition (abstraction), where applications can be created by expressing intent in natural language rather than writing code line by line manually.
We may be among the last generations that knows the syntax and have the ability to write code.
With each phase of evolution, abstraction increases and entry barriers decrease. What used to be a field defined by painful learning curves and hardcore technical skills is becoming more accessible.
Some people will welcome this shift. It means less grind to become a good builder.
Some people may not be happy because they’re more inclined toward hard skills, depth, and the effort that used to define the field.

In DSA, has it ever happened to you that you were trying to solve a problem but couldn’t, and you took it to your ego and spent 2–4 hours on it?
