@desmond_attobra @ayotherealme I think you are getting it wrong here, the question Paul asked in Rom 6:1 is “shall we continue in sin?”. He was not talking about sin as a nature, if he was then there is no need for the following statement “grace may abound”. He was clearly speaking about sin as an act there.

But sinning without repentance (turning away from it); allowing your self to be ruled by sin is the dangerous path not to thread. Meanwhile, God’s grace is made available primarily for us to live above sin.

Hebrew 10:26-27 gives a resounding reiteration to this emphasis and the writer was emphatically speaking to believers.
