Inspiring words from @PaddyDiver4 and the amazing @micaactiongroup who are mobilising for the massive cost of living protest on Saturday in Dublin.
Together we can win measures that tackle the cost of living crisis.

Good news in this morning's post! The appeal to @anbordpleanala against @DubCityCouncil decision to Refuse Permission for hotel at @CobblestoneDub has been withdrawn. Well done to all involved in the campaign
We need to protect & nurture our City's cultural spaces

Great news that Marron Estates has withdrawn their appeal from An Bord Pleanála.
The @CobblestoneDub is safe for now. But make no mistake, this is far from over. Keeping on brand, they never discussed anything with the pub. All decisions on its future are made by faceless men
The 'Save The Cobblestone' campaign celebrates a major win today, following news that the appeal against Dublin City Council's decision to refuse planning permission for a controversial hotel around iconic pub has been withdrawn

Some good news for a Friday.
The "developers" who wanted to encase @CobblestoneDub in a big hotel have withdrawn their appeal with An Bord Pleanála.
No doubt they'll be back, but Round 1 to us 🥊🥊🥊
Planning application withdrawn by Marron Estates.
Intentions for future of site unknown.
We hope owner will engage w/community & Mulligan family on more suitable design & that DCC will safeguard Cobblestone for all to enjoy.
For now, we celebrate!
Thanks to all who supported us!

You think we’ve been through the shit? We have. The good news is that, over the next few months, things will return to something like normal.
The bad news is that there’ll be a whole other heap of grief to contend with...

We've done everything we can to show An Bord Pleanála the vital cultural role The Cobblestone plays in our lives.
We don't know how many observations were made yet, but we're expecting something BIG 👊

You have til 5:30pm today to send an objection letter to An Bord Pleanala about The Cobblestone development appeal.
It costs a ridiculous €50 but Dublin is Dying have a how-to guide and have been covering the cost for some who can’t afford. See:
