We’re updating our mainnet plan. 🌐

The cPen mainnet is planned to launch as the Human Attention Network, with $HATN as its native token.

💡 Why the change

Our research on labor and attention in the AI era shaped this direction. As AI performs more tasks and produces more content, we believe human attention will play an increasingly important role.

Human Attention Network reflects this vision more clearly than naming the network after our app.

📌 What this means for $CPEN

Under the updated plan, HATN will be used to pay network transaction fees. CPEN is no longer planned to serve as the network’s fee, staking or network-governance token.

We recognize that this is a big change, and we understand that some supporters will be disappointed.

We made this decision to align the network with its intended purpose. Our plans for CPEN now focus on uses within the cPen ecosystem, including the proposed DEX described below.

🔥 Mainnet rewards allocation to be burned

The 405,537,893.54 CPEN reserved under the 12% mainnet rewards allocation will be burned.

This allocation unlocks gradually under PinkLock lock #1308245 until approximately April 2030. We will withdraw tokens from this allocation only for burning and publish the withdrawal and burn transaction links.

No burn schedule has been set yet.

🔄 Planned DEX role for CPEN

We intend to build a decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Human Attention Network, with CPEN as its official token.

CPEN’s specific functions within the DEX have not yet been finalized. We will publish those details as the design is developed.

📢 Broader ecosystem use

We plan to support CPEN alongside INK across the cPen ecosystem and will announce additional uses as they become available.

CPEN and INK remain part of the cPen buyback program. Buybacks and burns do not guarantee token value or market performance.

📢 INK: The Remaining Distribution Schedule

Today we’re announcing the dates for both remaining INK phases, so everyone has the same information well in advance.

🗓️ Phase 2: Friday, December 11, 2026 at 18:00 UTC

🗓️ Phase 3: Friday, March 5, 2027 at 18:00 UTC

Each phase starts 12 weeks after the previous one, on a Friday at 18:00 UTC.

These dates are fixed unless a technical issue with BNB Chain or our distribution system requires a change. If that happens, we will explain it here and announce the revised schedule as soon as possible.

How distribution works

For verified INK that is not locked:

• Phase 2 distributes 33.33% of your verified INK. Phase 3 distributes the remaining balance.

• Payment is automatic, to the BSC (BEP-20) wallet address saved in your cPen app when each phase is processed.

• There is nothing to claim and no wallet connection required.

• Distribution is expected to take several hours. Please wait until we announce completion before contacting support about a missing payment.

A 5% processing fee is deducted from each payout. Across all three phases, the total fee is 5% of the INK distributed, not 15%.

If a missing or invalid wallet address prevents payment, correct it in the app before the deadline.
Eligible missed phase payouts will then be processed automatically.

The deadline for these missed payouts is September 1, 2027; 180 days after Phase 3 begins. After the deadline, unpaid INK from these phases will never be issued.

Locked INK follows the separate payment dates and expiry windows.

If a missing or invalid address prevents a locked payment, you have 180 days from that portion’s payment date to correct it in the app. After that window, the unpaid portion will never be issued.

🔥 Buyback and burn continues

A share of cPen’s ad revenue continues to fund INK purchases on the open market. The purchased INK is sent to the burn address, permanently removing it from circulation.

Check your wallet address before December 11

Open the cPen app → Wallet → INK row.

✅ Use a self-custody wallet where you control the keys, such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet.
❌ Do not use an exchange deposit address.
🔒 Lock your address once you have checked that it is correct.

Changed wallets since Phase 1? Update your saved address before Phase 2 is processed. Each payment uses the address saved at the time it is processed.

We cannot recover or resend INK already sent to an old wallet or an exchange deposit address.

Stay safe

INK distribution does not require a claim website, a claim form, a wallet connection, or an upfront payment.

Anyone asking you to connect a wallet or send funds to receive your INK is a scammer. We never DM first. Verify announcements through this account and inside the cPen app.
