You're not wrong about 'displaying anything that said Oakland'. I can't remember a time when the Warriors wore a jersey that said it or hung a banner that said it. The closest they got was "The Town" alternate jerseys. Am I forgetting something?
To me this reads more like an epitaph instead of a celebration. It basically says RIP Oakland. It feels empty & hollow.
Honestly this is what messed me up. The 1st time I ever saw that franchise display anything that said OAKLAND. When I saw this the tears just started flowingπ
