Congrats to this legend on retirement. One of the best leaders the game has seen. I could not have asked for a better teammate to come into the league with and I’m proud of all our success together over the years.
RIP to one of the people most instrumental in bringing the Stanley Cup to New Jersey for the first time. It’s so shocking. He was a unique player; such a competitor. A winner.
Salvation is free, but following Jesus still comes with a cost.
The Christian walk can be difficult because growth requires discipline.
There’s a daily battle between the flesh and the desire to follow God.
Sometimes following Christ means letting go of habits, relationships, or lifestyles that pull you away from Him.
There’s also spiritual warfare.
Not every struggle is physical.
Jesus never promised the journey would be easy,
but He did promise to be with us through it.
These 4 guys havent left all these runners on in last 10 games crawly. Fact is people got WAYYYY too excited about the start of the season, much like last year and now your looking for something to blame. Cubs are a team thats good enough to fight for a division or a playoff spot but thats as high as it goes. Not a team with elite or great players. Good or average at best
Both sides are tricked into caricaturizing each other- the left thinks the whole right wing is Ted Cruz and the right thinks the whole left wing is Dylan Mulvaney.
In reality the vast majority of regular Americans on both sides are regular and reasonable people.
Most people on the left are completely unaware of all the worst and most diabolical fringes of their party.
And in my experience- most difference of political opinions is just either side being fooled by their sides propaganda and not having the time to do the research for themselves.
The right and left represent two haves of a whole- either one taken to the extreme is destructive- and right now we have both taken to the extreme and intentionally penduluming to keep us all at each other’s throats. What we need is balance, conversation, and solidarity between the rising right and left wing populist movements in the US (and around the whole world)
One morning we'll all wake up to zero power/energy, no Internet, no banking, no water, no shops open. Just a public service announcement while our gov & royals go into hiding below ground or fly off in private jets.
Why the fuck do I have to choose between right or left?
I’m done with that shit. I’m neither. And I’m not alone.
I’m not with these war chasing, blood sucking Republicans who act like they stand for something while moving like snakes behind the scenes. If you believe in power then say it to my face. Stop lying.
Want American Imperialism? Then run on it.
And I’m sure as hell not with these baby killing, transgender pushing, sick in the head liberals who’ve turned basic logic upside down and suffer from suicidal empathy. Opening the borders, destroying our family structure, and pretending it’s progress. It’s bullshit.
I’m neither.
And every normal person I talk to feels the same exact way. People with families. People running businesses. People who work 9-5 and can’t make ends meet. People who actually live in reality and give a shit about their country.
Where the fuck is the logical party?
Not this America first garbage that everybody screams while doing the exact opposite. Every single one of them gets bought. Lobbyists, war hawks, big pharma, all of it. They don’t give a fuck about you. They care about money, power, and who they answer to.
And we’re supposed to just accept it?
For what? To get weaker? To get sicker? To watch everything get worse while they cash checks?
What kind of sick, backwards shit is that?
Everybody I know is logical. Everybody reading this knows exactly what I’m saying whether they admit it or not.
People just want to live. Be happy. Raise their families. Build something real.
We’re sick of this shit.
Sick of being forced into sides that don’t represent us. Sick of weak, spineless politicians who can be bought with money, power, or whatever the hell else they want.
Do you understand that?
Enough.
Most of this country just wants normal, strong, decent leadership.
And we’re not getting it.

Spiritual warfare is so real. Don't be surprised when you start making an effort to get closer to Jesus, and suddenly, you're struggling more with anxiety and everything seems to be going wrong. The devil isn't going to bother you when you're living in sin. But the second you start getting closer to the Lord, you become a threat, and he will try to wreak havoc on your life and especially your mind.

25 years ago tonight, the #Attitude Era peaked inside the Astrodome here in Houston. @steveaustinBSR walked out with the strap after shaking hands with the devil, himself. Pound for pound and top to bottom, it remains the best #WrestleMania card of all time. And 20-year-old me was there, loving every second of it all. #WWE #WWF #WrestleManiaX7
I’m an older millennial. We had a pretty great run.
We grew up with actual childhoods before everything moved online, but we still got the internet early enough to understand it before it took over everything. We had landlines, AIM, mall culture, good music, and just enough technology to make life fun without making it weird.
Old enough to remember life before smartphones. Young enough to adapt to all of it.
That was a sweet spot.
