Zack Polanski has transformed the Green Party into a mass movement for the first time
He has fundamentally altered British politics already, building a viable left electoral alternative to Labour for first time
What he has done in 13 short months as leader is almost unbelievable
Of course, the British establishment—including elements of Green old guard who are part of it—want him gone
He has transformed a party that posed no threat to UK oligarchy into one that confronts it directly - and has the numbers to back it up
Polanski is en route to being the most consequential politician of his generation
The significance of what he is doing is not widely understood. Everyone should get behind him
Pete Hegseth is clearly coked out and thinks this is a video game.
Democracy in this country has fallen. They are returning us back to the worst chapters of our history.
Nidal Hasan should be held accountable, but his execution should not be entertainment at watch parties.
There are a very small number of countries that still carry out public executions. Those are the countries we are constantly told are uniquely primitive, barbaric, sick and evil.
It's revealing that Pete Hegseth wants the US to join that group but also entirely unsurprising.
We have 216 signatures for the Epstein Files Transparency Act II discharge petition, but we need 218.
Two democrats who were out sick have pledged to sign, but any two republicans could sign the petition NOW.
Will your Representative sign? Here are the 4 Republicans who signed:
No matter what mehdi hasan says
He is not friend of Palestine or the Victims of Gaza
No matter what he says he will soon throw some tweets condemning Gaza victims and blaming the oppressed and battered and he will promote Israeli propaganda and lies.
Black bookstores matter, y’all!
I stopped by Black English Bookstore @BlkEngBookstore in the heart of Tampa to see my girl Ariel. Go see her at 401 E Oak Ave. Tell her Angie sent y’all.
And read a banned book in honor of banned books week!

100% support for those protesting Mamdani. You can still like the good stuff he’s implemented while simultaneously shaming him. That is what you are supposed to do when the politicians you vote for go against their word. These people are not our heroes, and he deserves the heat.
A key reason why nothing ever meaningfully moves in America is because there’s no culture of protest. People think rightfully criticizing a politician, whose rise to success was in no small part secured by the coalitions whose activists feel shortchanged by his admin, is a psyop.
Y’all keep insisting this was a pro-Palestinian peace vigil, yet here’s the governor explicitly saying only Jewish New Yorkers deserve to mourn in peace. Not a word about Palestinians.
I’ve never heard of a peace rally where the very people you’re supposedly seeking peace with aren’t welcome to express their grief or grievances.
But that’s exactly the kind of “peace” Zionists want: Palestinians can mourn, so long as they do it silently. They can have grievances, so long as they don’t voice them. They can exist, so long as they are subjugated and invisible.
I hate to give any visibility to someone who insults us on the anniversary of the beginning of the deadliest ongoing chapter in our history as Palestinians.
That said, as much as I’d love to claim credit for this incredible action, we simply uplifted and supported a protest organized primarily by Students for Justice in Palestine chapters across New York City. The very same organization where Mamdani got his political start.
As always, the genuine grassroots revitalize our movement and lead the way. Unlike NGOs and politicians, we refuse to discourage righteous indignation from the students organizing this protest today. We simply asked what they need and how we can support them.
You can blame us all you want. I genuinely don’t care, and I’m more than happy to take the blame. But you’re distorting reality to avoid confronting a much more uncomfortable truth: the very organization where your parasocial politician got his political start is now leading protests against him.
Perhaps instead of attacking the students and the Palestinian community, you should take several seats and listen to what we’ve all been saying
