@bp_jamal @Bhavani_00007 the abstraction layer argument isn't that strong with LLMs since compilers meant compiling something precise to something precise. LLMs are imprecise to precise so something always gets lost in translation.

@FrameworkPuter @saraaa7447 stylus is nice but the FW12 is where it falls short, the i3 on latest clean Zorin OS install is laggy as hell (or maybe it's the DE). Can't wait for a panther/wildcat lake refresh to get some more oomph.

@FrameworkPuter got a brand new sage FW12 with 32GBs some months ago but that 13th gen CPU is really lacking in the oomph department, really hoping there's an upgrade path to panther/wildcat lake for power and efficiency gains.

@someoak2 @FrameworkPuter it definitely lacks oomph to feel responsive using Zorin OS/GNOME. But putting a panther lake chip in the FW12 would be a great fit.

@markmann @FrameworkPuter nope, and latest Zorin OS on it I find to be quite unresponsive with the base CPU in it. I think this machine with a Panther lake chip in it would slap in performance/battery life though.

@FrameworkPuter With memory, input cover and expansion ports (and using your own SSD) you're still looking at over 800 euros for the entry one. It makes sense if there's an upgrade path available(Panther/Wildcat lake?) that also is quite affordable but right now it's just mweh and expensive
