Yō fam! It's the end of the week, which means it's time for the developer diary! 📝
🔹 Discussed the implementation of the "Nest" location in Atmos and created a mountainous landscape.
🔹 Documented the quest system for the "Crystal Chase."
🔹 Discussed and documented the maneuvering mechanics for locations during gameplay events.
🔹 Discussed placement schemes for "Links" in the city and conducted additional research to create references for city and building designs from other games.
🔹 Examined interactive elements and obstacles to be added to the "Terra" locations.
🔹 Created a 3D model for location blockers.
🔹 Updated sketches for the Architects.
🔹 Reviewed and made final adjustments for blocking geometry of the "Aqua" cave location, the path to the tower, and the base of the tower.
🔹 Checked animations and added the water frog as a character.
🔹 Working on resolving the iOS build issue.
🔹 Working on the functionality of the authentication and web authentication service, addressing authentication call issues on different Android and iOS platforms, and documented the authentication process.
🔹 Working on authentication through Apple and OTP for Unreal Engine.
🔹 Partially rewrote the main menu to align with new login specifications.
🔹 Resolved conflicts related to the new authentication system in the game, ensuring - compatibility with the previously existing method.
🔹 Began developing a base class for the Solo drone and contemplated creating a wrapper to utilize its capabilities through GAS.
🔹 Added notifications from the Toast component for debugging and testing.
🔹 Configured the iOS simulator for Unreal Engine for quick debug checks.
🔹 Started developing the logic for interactive objects on the "Flocked Bird" map, implementing the flight of birds in the sky, their reactions to the player, the ability to scare birds and force them to take off from trees.
