9 conf games were the norm for the majority of CFB and sadly the SEC were the exception for years...and as leagues were beating themselves up late in November the SEC was playing a WEAK non conf game late in the season before a rivalry game/CFP rankings. It's just the facts.

And that impacted the narrative in a huge way over the course of a decade+.

Now it's finally at 9 conf games across the board. And yes, 9 conf games are a challenge but welcome to college football in 2026 and the expanded CFP.

Gotta earn it on the grass.

@nORthwestBEAV When the city is driving out corporations it makes it hard to charge for luxury suites. Additionally the state put in regulations to prevent incentivizing business relationships which a lot of suites were used for; again, negates the necessity of having them.
