fyi, amber heard was a domestic abuse victim who had plenty of evidence documenting the abuse she experienced + a story that reflected well established patterns of interpersonal abuse. yet plenty of libs/leftists participated in the reactionary, heavily coordinated smear campaign against her, without hesitation, and still don’t seem to care/recognize how devastating the effects have been. we are experiencing a period of cultural regression without any reckoning of how we got here

A lot of the few resources that do exist for DV survivors aren't for disabled people too. A lot of people are sent away from shelters if they're deemed to be too "difficult". A lot of disabled ppl aren't allowed to save. Abuse is excused more. And that's the tip of the iceberg.
