I invited you to the mouse gathering last week but you didn't show up... was waiting for you too
Yeah twice a week there's the big mouse gathering where we all huddle together for warmth, it's pretty chill... just kinda rude of you not to come
One of the Weirdest cases, and the one that led me to dedicate myself to this particular phenomenon, I've already shared on Reddit, TikTok, and YouTube, but here it is:
On July 9, 1990. In Davydovo, Orekhovo-Zuevsky, Moscow region, Russia. At about one in the morning, B. Burova
I just realized that the three novels that I've read recently that've stuck with me the most can all be loosely classed as "rural fiction," being about small isolated settlements dealing with external and/or internal threats
Is this an actual genre or have I just gone mad?
@UltraZabhahs The secret is that it all does exist, you can access the Thoroughfare through advanced meditation techniques
But yeah what exactly the Procession is is one of the minor mysteries (though, unlike the others, it's been very definitely answered)
Which image am I brazenly copying today? Well it's this nice painting from Annie Stegg. Tbh the resemblance isn't that clear but that's the beautiful thing about inspirations, you're never actually bound to them
@UltraZabhahs Perhaps it's a situation we can all relate to
The thing with publishing though is that I don't really see a point when like 5 people max care about what I make. The hope is that if when it's finished people really like it I can go the All Tomorrows route
@UltraZabhahs Oh thank you, tbh you might be the first person to actually read one of the stories lol
But because of that I haven't compiled them anywhere yet, though they're linked in order at the bottom of these posts I made

@UltraZabhahs More writing? Well there's approximately 9 other stories I've written to go with the art pieces, the rest are currently in my thought-space until I make the art for them
Read through Aniara recently. At certain points it basically descends into nonsense verse but as a Carroll appreciator that just made me like it more
Reading poetry in translation is always a shame but it still manages to work regardless
