The Meteor downgrade is absolutely insane in FFVII Revelation.
The foreboding shot with the sun setting sky sold the horrifying presence of this celestial body coming to decimate the world It being first shown in FFVIIR under a bright blue sky is pathetic. It's not even that big.
This should be like the OG FFVII or Majora's Mask, that menacing presence that cannot be escaped from looking at the sky, it should taint the colors as a constant reminder of the impending doom. It should be big enough to take up a significant portion of the view of the sky.
Like so many other things in this trilogy, the important elements that made FFVII what it was continue to be neutered and underdelivered. Sad!
@yohohoskulljoke To be fair it didn't turn the sky red till the ending like in the ending, the images in the quoted post were taken on diffrent time of the day in the game. Lets see how they handle it getting closer in Revelation first
@TheHylian64 Scale in both games is diffrent ?, besides the shots from Revelations were from the highwind not a selective CGI scene from the OG, im a fan of both lol
Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the thrilling conclusion of the FFVII Remake Series, launches simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store and Steam in Spring 2027.
