Trust refused to meet or answer letters until the teachers struck. They were threatened with being fired or to accept a massive deferred paycut. The Trust still refuses to go to mediation. And some teachers are parents

To remove it with the threat of fire and rehire (which was removed only thanks to strike action) or with a huge cut in salary is unethical. A 20% cut to pensions.

And 24 hours later, still no reply. 97% of 1,000 teachers decided to call off the strike immediately if the Trust agreed to go to mediation. How long does it take?
