This is my first publication that I am the first author on. Super proud of it. In this study, my former advisor Jeffrey Wagman and I looked at transfer of calibration to perception of surface distance by means of two haptic sensory-substitution devices.

I’m almost finished with my master’s thesis at Illinois State. For about a year, I‘ve been studying haptic perception and sensory-substitution. Also, excitingly, I’m enrolling in Clemson University’s PhD program in human factors psychology next fall. Go tigers!
I did some research with my advisor, Jeff Wagman, and we published a paper together. We call this one “perceiving multiple properties of a single person-probe-surface system.”
