Former soldier Daniel Barr has described how he brought the Liverpool parade attacker’s car to a standstill as it drove into crowds of people during the Premier League victory parade in May.

Daniel Barr has been hailed as a hero for intervening in the attack by climbing into Doyle's Ford Galaxy vehicle and bringing it to a halt.

The attack left more than 130 people injured.

During Doyle’s sentencing Tuesday, Judge Andrew Menary said Daniel Barr’s actions “prevented further injury and may well have saved lives”.
