@MPestorius @AmericanAir Another fun fact, book with miles puts you in main cabin with all the status perk including earning miles..lol actually pay for ticket( basic economy) you get nothing. How does that make sense?

Even as low price as Spirit was you at least received miles flying in their planes! I have status and it meant absolutely nothing.

@AmericanAir @NaomiBuckta So no benefits for loyalty and somehow basic economy prices didn’t come down either. So take away benefits and keep prices high. Nothing says we screwing you like that. Don’t even get the miles flown on your airplanes.

@PeterCaliendo @AmericanAir Quietly changed in May, absolutely unbelievable the very basic on getting miles flying their airplanes was removed. Found out hard way after trip was already booked. But strangely priced for seats remained same not lowered…hmmm

@AmericanAir @g7sc465n5y Been saying this for two months as loyal Gold member after finding out after booking our trip west. Those changes were done quietly and with no regards for loyal members. Usual response from @AmericanAir as they count the money without any actions or changes for sure.

@AmericanAir not receiving miles for flying on your plane is about as low as airline gets. Even the low cost airlines Sprit, Breeze etc has cheap fares but u got miles. Absolute shame in this change.
