Also, the goal wasn't to put in power a hyper progressive leader. The goal was to not elect Trump. Yes, Free Palestine. Yes, trans rights. Progressives, you could have stopped attacking the left until election season is over. That is what caused people to vote 3rd party.

I swear, Dems ran the dumbest campaign this cycle. The goal was to beat Trump. How to do that: solidify your voters and bridge a gap for right wing voters to feel comfortable voting dem. So why spend time calling them weird and comparing rally sizes?

Republican: "Oh no, Trump is not having people show up to the rallys, this means I definitely have to show up to the polls"

Republicans: "I'm feeling humiliated by the Dems so now I'll become less likely to be open about hearing their viewpoints"

He used name calling and middle school bully-like language towards people he disagrees with. At his worst, he has blatantly incited violence against others. I'm explaining this in terms of his actions and inactions... I'll finish writing this somewhere else... to be continued...

Well... I did not expect to wake up to Trump winning... At this point the only thing to do is wait out the next 4 year and hope it won't be as bad as it seemed leading up to this point.

Everyone would agree that under Trump, the US is more divided than ever. Excluding the Civil War, when we literally were killing each other. He has threatened people that oppose him. He called for people to show up to the capitol (January 6th) to debate the 2020 election results.
