A picture of four children taken in 1938 in the village of Klushino, Smolensk region, USSR.

In 1941, the village was occupied by the Nazis, and for "fun" a German soldier would hang the smallest child in the picture, Boris, from a tree using his own scarf.

The boy's mother managed to save him, taking advantage of the moment when the Nazi went to get his camera to take a photo of the "fun scene."

In 1942, the Germans would abduct the two older children in the photo, Valentin and Zoya, to work in Germany. However, both of them managed to escape (separately).

As for the little kid sitting on the chair , he would grow up and train as a pilot, then, on the morning of April 12, 1961, he would shout "Let's go!" (Poyekhali!) and become the first human being in space.

The Gagarin brothers, Valentin, Boris, Zoya, and of course the now immortal Yuri.

@MaajidNawaz Maajid, I must say I am not surprised as I know this all too well being a woman in India.
I don’t however think these articles do any good and fuel acts of hatred on immigrants. A war not against only “muslims” but against all brown people.
