Fungi are the Garderners and Caretakers of the Earth. They nurtured the first Forests onto land and they constructed neural networks that stretches through out the forests of the world.
Our civilisation is only some 5000 years old; look at the mess we have made. Intelligence?

We need to recognize our true inner self. We are what the Universe is doing in this place and time, and as a part of it all we will never really die. The Ego disapears, which is precisely the lesson it needs, but our inner self keeps changing for all time.
